How to troubleshoot errors when charging an iPhone X when connecting to a laptop with a genuine cable

I recently bought an iPhone X and when charging with a genuine cable on my laptop, the phrase unsupported accessory often appears.

I heard that it could be like this if it's not a genuine cable.

Is it a computer error? Or should we change the cable?

pu1. I sometimes see that phrase, but I just don't want to. It's not that it's not charging continuously
