Do they give you kimonos when you go to a traditional ryokan?

If you go to the traditional ryokan site, you go around wearing a kimono.

Is that provided by the ryokan?

Or is it because Japanese people wear kimono at home when they go to the ryokan?

Would it be weird if I didn't bring a kimono?

Does everyone look at me when I wear sweatpants?
