Will I be able to get out of tune if I go to a practical music academy?

I'm tone-deaf, so when I ask my friends to go to karaoke, I really don't want to go. I can't help but leave them. If I go, they make me sing. It's stressful. They teach me how to sing at a practical music academy. What do you think?

I'm a little afraid that only people who want to be singers will be there.
