Do you charge extra for turning on the air conditioner at a Japanese hotel?

It's my first time traveling to Japan, so is it my first time traveling abroad? Anyway, when I use a Japanese hotel, do I get more money if I leave the air conditioner on for 24 hours?

I'm going to go play in the summer, but I heard it's very hot and humid in summer.

Even if I look it up, there are only comments saying that it's cool with the air conditioner on indoors, and there's no separate talk about money, so can I get an additional fee if I turn it on a lot?
