I've been on a diet for about 2 weeks. Why can't I lose weight?

I've been on a diet for about two weeks now, so I just eat breakfast as usual, and I'm eating bananas, cherry tomatoes, and sweet potatoes for lunch, and I'm eating soy milk for dinner, but I'm barely losing weight, so is there anything I should add here?
