Why can't I put the laundry in the middle of washing the drum washing machine?

I'm using a tromm drum washing machine  I stopped in the middle to add laundry and opened the door, but the door didn't open

It says weight detection and a red light pops up.

Can't you add laundry in the middle of a drum washing machine?
