When exercising dumbbells, do a large number with a light one
vs.
Do a small number with a heavy one
Which one do you like?
Or is the exercise effect the same because the calories consumed are the same anyway?

pu1. The purpose is different. Holding heavy things is usually for bulk-up, so it's for the purpose of building big muscles. Light ones are used to keep the muscles in place.

pu2. That's true in terms of calories consumed, but the two have different purposes... If you do something heavy, you gain muscle strength, and if you do something light, you gain endurance
