Remove pesticides with baking soda when washing vegetables and fruits

According to the blog, if you use baking soda to wash vegetables or fruits, the pesticide will be removed...

There are a lot of comments on the blog that I just spread what others say without an accurate basis, so I was wondering if this was right or not...

Can you really remove pesticides and nbsp if you use baking soda when washing vegetables or fruits?
