Workaround if no external hard drive is detected

Computer

I bought an external hard drive this time and connected it to my laptop, but if you look at it from the window, it doesn't come out, but the hard drive only makes the sound.

I don't know if it's because of the large capacity, but I use a 2T hard drive, is there a limit to the capacity in Windows?

pu1. It's because everyone needs an extra connection. Try an ottg hub with a separate power source

pu2. As Bbu said, it's not recognized because it lacks power. Without power, it's just a tic sound like a hard head bouncing
