Is Windows 10 free upgrade still available?

I'm using Windows 7 on my laptop, but Windows 7 was originally installed when I bought my laptop, so I have a serial key.

I'm thinking of doing it now after not upgrading within the free period, is it still possible to upgrade Windows 10 for free?
