I'm a beginner who's learning bass.
I'm learning at the academy and I only use my index and middle fingers when I search for YouTube courses. Is there a reason why I use only two fingers when I play the bass guitar?
I used all five fingers to play the guitar, but I don't know why I don't play the base like that.
Wouldn't it be easier and more colorful if I used all five?

pu1. I don't know exactly, but I heard it's because the bass is played close to a rhythmic instrument. Unlike guitars that play a lot of melodies, the bass supports the entire play and contributes more to the rhythm, so you don't have to play it fast, so using two fingers can control your strength and play it accurately
