Is it convenient to use a MacBook and an iPhone?

When I see people who use Mac, they use Mac as an iPhone on MacBooks. I'm using iPhone now, but I don't know if it's comfortable to use with Windows.

Would it be convenient to use with MacBook and iPhone? I've never used a Mac, so I wonder what it's like to use it instead of a PC.
