Meaning of Friedos laptop

When I tried to buy a laptop, it looked like the same product, but the one written as Freedos was cheaper. What does Freedos laptop mean?

I think it means that DOS is free, but don't you use DOS these days?

pu1. If you use Linux or other operating systems, you don't need Windows, so you don't include OS and sell it at a discount. If you buy Windows because you're going to use it, you can buy Windows cheaper if it's included

pu2. The Freedos product refers to a laptop that does not include os. The non-Fridos one is basically Windows 10. (It's included in the purchase)
