Can I use the engine oil for the smoke absorber even though the car doesn't have a smoke absorber?

I'm in a diesel car, and I ordered it online to change the engine oil myself, and it says it's for the smoke reducer.

There is no smoke reduction device in the car, so can I use the engine oil for the smoke reduction device?
