How do you watch videos without using iTunes on your iPad?

The thing that was really uncomfortable when I used iPhone before was that if I wanted to watch a video, I changed the encoding and put it in iTunes, and it was very uncomfortable.

I bought an iPad with a tablet, but I've been using it to the extent that I use it on the Internet and watch YouTube.

I suddenly wondered if the iPhone has improved recently, but I thought it would be good as an iPad...

By any chance Is there any improvement so that you can watch videos comfortably on your iPhone or iPad?
